MUMBAI : The country's Mega family is showered with love and affection by admirers all around the world. For a variety of reasons, the Chiranjeevi clan is in the news. Son of Telugu actor and filmmaker Nagendra Babu and nephew of superstar Chiranjeevi, Varun Tej is one of the family's well-known heroes. All eyes were on him and actress Lavanya Tripathi during their wedding. The actor is currently making news again after rumors surfaced that he might need surgery.

There are a lot of rumours flying around that Varun Tej is going to undergo surgery. He reportedly suffered a minor injury to his leg, which has now grown serious and for which the doctors have recommended surgery. Fans are concerned even though there hasn't been an official confirmation on the matter.

Varun Tej first marked his debut as a child artist in his father’s film, Hands Up at the age of ten. Finally, as an adult, he made his debut with Mukunda opposite Pooja Hegde. He has till now worked in films like Fidaa, Loafer, Mister, F3: Fun and Frustration, and Gandeevadhari Arjuna, to name a few. He was last seen in the film Operation Valentine opposite Manushi Chhillar directed by Shakti Pratap Singh Hada.

About his personal life, Varun Tej revealed that he fell in love with Lavanya Tripathi while they were working together on the movie set of Mister. In 2018, they contributed to the movie Antariksham 9000 KMPH. The couple married in Tuscany, Italy in November 2023 after getting engaged in June. Following a lavish welcome, the newlyweds took off on their honeymoon. The newlyweds reportedly loved Finland's snow-capped Mountains.

Varun Tej is currently getting ready for his next movie, Matka, which is a period drama that was written and directed by Karuna Kumar. Meenakshi Chowdary, Nora Fatehi, Naveen Chandra, and other actors also star.
